WORK STARTS ON THE POINT OFFICE VILLAGE

Development work has commenced on The Point Office Village, part of Cedar House Investments’ £50 million mixed-use development of the former Bombardier bogie and signalling works to the west of Pride Park.

Phase one of Office Village will comprise of six grade A office buildings, ranging in size from 1,700 sq ft to 6,120 sq ft, which are available for sale or to let. Larger buildings will also be available on a design and build basis. Construction work commenced in March, with occupation available by November.

The 12 acre Point scheme is one of the biggest developments ever seen on Pride Park. Planning permission has already been granted for 300,000 sq ft of commercial accommodation in the form of offices, residential, leisure and retail uses.
Development work has recently commenced on a 112 room hotel for Ramada Encore. It will also be home to the first serviced office accommodation on Pride Park and is set to house the UK Rail Centre.
